Hi, Innovator!

Movement on SBIR Reauthorization

Could it be? The next 24-48 hours may see forward progress

We have promising updates regarding the SBIR and STTR programs!

As reported by Politico and other sources today, lawmakers on the Senate Small Business Committee have introduced legislation to fast-track the reauthorization of the SBIR and STTR programs. This is a significant step forward.

Federal agencies remain strong allies and advocates for SBIR reauthorization, and we anticipate rapid movement once the legislation is passed. For example, some agencies may post active topics as early as the Wednesday following reauthorization.

While this is exciting news, it’s important to note that the reauthorization is not official yet. We’ll keep you informed with updates on our LinkedIn page, via email, and through a webinar to discuss any changes introduced in the bill.

What remains unchanged is the commitment to driving innovative technology development to address critical mission needs through strategic investments in America’s small businesses.

If you’d like to discuss your plans or receive personalized support, our team of professional SBIR consultants at MTIP is here to help. Reach out to schedule a one-on-one consultation today!
